FaceBook just sent me an image of some of my work from 2 years ago when I was just starting out. It came on the cusp of me having my debut in San Franciso. I don't know why I'm surprised sometimes that the little details and small victories are adding up, but they do and I am. I figure if I can go along and share all of those small moments with the world, others can find the encouragement to join in and do some creating for themselves.
One of my New Year's resolutions is to send out regular newsletters. What I've been resisting, though, is this notion that I "should" be sending out both newsletters and blogs about every two weeks each (at a minimum) for both reminding folks I'm here and also keeping up my web standings. While I'm okay with writing, it's, ahem, not my first love. And that is the PG version of those thoughts.
Then I found out you could combine the two through MailChimp. (Oh, yeah!!!) I can update my blog & events every two weeks or so. Then, MailChimp will check my blog and event feeds once a week for new content. If it's there, a newsletter will be automatically crafted that includes the new information along with links to most recent 5 articles. Smarter, not harder. Love it!
So pardon my dust (broken links, misaligned graphics, rustic look, etc...) as I embark upon learning how to better share my journey, little bit by little bit.
